When Spirit chose to take on human form, it changed forever how we understand what it means to be a person. That act was more than symbolic, it gave new value to human life and personality. At its deepest level, love means seeing and honoring the whole person, whether that person is another human being, a spiritual guide, or even God. Love isn’t just a feeling or a thought. It’s the full presence of who we are, our mind, our heart, our spirit, all working together to give something true and real.
Think of it this way. You might feel kindness toward a stranger or have a thought about helping someone in need. But when you act with love, it’s more than a moment or an idea, it’s your whole being choosing to give without needing anything in return. Like when you help someone struggling with groceries simply because it's the right thing to do, or when you sit with a grieving friend not to fix anything but just to be present. That kind of love carries divine energy.
Our understanding of reality starts with the fact that we exist as individual people. Everything we know about the higher realms, about Spirit, God, and the universe, is built on how we experience them through our own soul and personal journey. The things in life that aren’t spiritual, money, technology, even knowledge, are simply tools. They are the means to help us grow. But relationships, true, soul-deep connections with others, are not tools. They are the goal. They are sacred. They are the reason.
The fact that we have personality, that we know ourselves, that we can reflect, feel, and choose, is proof that we are more than physical beings. That sense of "I am" comes from beyond the material world. Even someone who denies the existence of God is still using the very awareness that proves there is something deeper going on inside them. That spark of Spirit, that inner light, is still active.
There is a vast space between physical matter and thought. And an even greater space between a mind focused only on the material world and a heart that knows spiritual love. You can’t explain love, consciousness, or self-awareness just by pointing to brain chemistry or electrical impulses. These things come from a higher place. They are whispers from the Divine reminding us who we really are. Blessings, Love & Light...
