We are living in times where deception can feel almost invisible...
Scripture has long warned us about leaders and voices who appear righteous but act in self-interest. Jesus said in Matthew 7:15 that false prophets come in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ferocious wolves. Over the last ten months, the choices and actions at the highest levels have shown how easily appearances can mislead, how promises of protection, prosperity, or unity can serve only a few, while the rest of us navigate the consequences.
Yet in all of this, there is no condemnation for those who were caught up in the rhetoric. Many were drawn in not out of malice, but from hope, fear, or the desire to believe that someone had the answers. Jeremiah 23:16 warns us about voices that offer comforting lies or false promises. The truth is, it is easy to fall into these patterns, human hearts long for safety, clarity, and leadership in uncertain times.
For those who now see the ways they were misled, know that you are not beyond grace. The spirit of forgiveness is not reserved for the righteous alone; it is for everyone willing to see clearly and step into truth.
The scriptures remind us to discern carefully.
Revelation 2:2 calls us to test leaders by their deeds, not their words. 2 Peter 2:1-3 tells us that false teachers can introduce destructive ideas that undermine truth. Today, this guidance is not meant to frighten but to empower. It shows us the path forward: awareness, compassion, and the courage to choose integrity over comfort.
So if you find yourself reflecting on past choices, feeling the weight of having been misled, hear this as an invitation, not a judgment.
There is a space of forgiveness for those who were drawn into deception, a chance to release blame, shame, and fear. It is never too late to awaken to the truth, to step into discernment, and to walk forward with clarity.
The call of scripture is to vigilance, yes, but also to compassion. For ourselves and for others.
As we see the patterns of corruption, manipulation, and moral compromise, let us hold space for those who were caught in them. Let us extend understanding while remaining anchored in the principles of truth, justice, and integrity.
In doing so, we honor the spirit of God, the guidance of Jesus, and the innate ability within every soul to awaken and return to light. I have certainly expressed my judgments and cast my share of slings and arrows.
Now I must allow forgiveness for all. Forgiveness is not the same as condoning the actions I find repulsive, but rather the willingness to see the child within, the fearful and struggling human being, and choose Grace instead.
Only then can we begin to heal the rift within the fabric of humanity. Blessings, Love & Light...
